We are a research group of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), specialized in the study and dissemination of economic, social, business and environmental history, with a special focus on maritime activities. Currently constituted by 13 researchers, 10 of them with a PhD, we have a long trajectory in which we have more than 15 doctoral theses presented, numerous articles published in all kinds of magazines, about twenty books and an equivalent number of projects developed. As part of our research activity, we have always given great importance to the activity of dissemination and transfer, in the form of curating exhibitions, writing stories about companies and institutions for which we were commissioned or designing and organizing routes to disseminate our industrial heritage. For us, this website is a vehicle to make our work known, as well as to expand ongoing collaborations and encourage new ones.
