Carlos de Francisco Mantiñán

Carlos de Francisco graduated in Economics at the Universidade da Coruña (UDC) and in History at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC). Then, he completed his training with a Master in Contemporary History at the USC. Now, he is preparing his doctoral thesis in Economic History guided by Xoán Carmona Badía and María del Carmen Espido Bello. The thesis focuses on economic reforms in the two Iberian dictatorships, Francoism (Spain) and Estado Novo (Portugal), particularly on the economic development plans applied by both regimes, that is, the Planes de Desarrollo in Spain and the Planos de Fomento in Portugal. On the other hand, he studied for several years at the conservatory, specialty in piano, and he got the professional degree in this instrument.
